Learn about the 2,996

The most common question I'm asked about Project 2,996 is how people should learn about the name they've chosen to honor. While there are several lists where you can learn about some of them the best way I've found to research names is to use Google. Here's an example of how to format your first search:

Unfortunately, for some of the victims, very little information exists. There were a few people, people without families whose friends also perished, who almost seemed to vanish on that day. If you can't find much information on someone, they still deserve to be remembered.
